Clean water. I know it’s a huge issue. I carried water on my head at an awareness event several months ago, I’ve heard about it at church as we raise money for Spilling Hope, I’ve seen the wells in Africa and the need for access to safe water. And I’ve been in Vietnam where the need is apparent and hard to miss. And then on my last day in Vietnam, right before leaving for the airport in fact, I get sick. Food poisoning or dirty water poisoning, it really doesn’t matter. I felt horrible, and was having trouble imagining making it through two plane flights and a layover. I felt nauseated and my whole body felt weak from dehydration. And I was acutely sick for just a few hours, until the medications kicked in and I drank enough fluids to counteract the dehydration. And as I lay on the plane I thought, this is what people experience practically everyday from drinking dirty water. People walk hours to gather water that is going to make them sick like this because they have no other choice. People go about their normal lives feeling like this because they are sick so often.

And I was reminded for the umpteenth time the importance of safe water. I was at once terribly grateful for access to safe water, and humbled that I have it when others don’t. The fight to give people access to safe water must continue. We must work to get safe water to people, through wells, or safe water systems, however it can be successful. We must do it. And I must remember to be grateful and to give out of that gratitude.

Safe water matters. It’s life and death.

I was fortunate to spend some time cycling through South East Asia and Vietnam was among my top 4 favourites visited ( There were only four countries...), I am hoping to help my old theatre company expand to South East Asia maybe I can introduce the Kangen machine there, baby steps is what it takes and the first is the most important, well to perk things up again I found a great surfing video from some blokes in Canada, the water they`re surfing is about the same colour as is drunk so that`s what made me think of it, enjoy. So you’re
sick and tired of your job and your financial situation, and you’re dead set on starting a


 network marketing business. Well, I hate to split hairs with you so early on but I want to be very blunt because I donot want to waste your time, if I was to give one piece of advise to you before you leave this page never to return I would want you to consider this.
"Donot start a network marketing business!!!"
Don´t do it, donot bother. Forget it. Give up now. Go on the benefit.
I realise I sound a bit nuts but here´s there thing, ITS DEAD, and even the long touted MLM is on the decline. Are you curious to know why? Social media. Actually to pay it it´s proper respect it could read, SOCIAL MEDIA!  Your phone,  laptop/PC and your favourite people is what it´s all about. It always has been. If you see something you like you talk about it, you share it or "like it" You´ve been doing it for years and if you are going to make any long term passive income its time you woke up and worked out how to channel the flow of goods and services i.e MONEY through you to your loved ones or at least to people who are into the same interests hobbies whatever you want to call them, that YOU are. 

Right, now that I´ve had my rant I am presupposing you’ve done your research and done your due diligence and you’ve picked a company that resonates with you and has a product/service you can get passionate about. Yes? Good.

Before you get going, I want to give you a nugget of knowledge that will help you as you build your business.

Over the last 14 years in this industry, I’ve seen a lot of people have astronomical success. I’ve been around, and studied, some of the biggest and wealthiest leaders in the network marketing arena. At the same time, I’ve seen far more people “fail” in this industry. Now, there are a multitude of reasons why people “fail” in this industry and quit their business, and I can probably list down 100 of them that I’ve heard or witnessed over my career. But, today I want to single out one of the main reasons why people don’t do well in this industry, so you can avoid it in your career.

One of the biggest reasons people fail in this industry is that they simply don’t give themselves enough time to succeed. Building a business takes time. There’s a process that you need to go through.

For example, the average person who starts a network marketing sorry, social media based business, has never built a business before, and if they have, they probably never built a network marketing business before, which is a totally different animal than a traditional business.

There’s a learning curve you need to go through. And, I’m not talking about learning your "company’s" products. I’m talking about learning the skills you need to succeed in this industry. I’m talking about learning how to change the way you think from an employee to a business owner… from a mediocre mindset to an abundance and prosperity mindset… from a negative attitude to a consciously positive attitude. I’m talking about learning how to deal with and work with people. All of this takes time. And, then you need to understand that your leaders will take some time to go through this learning curve as well.

Now, it doesn’t take 10 years to have success in this industry…

But it certainly won’t happen overnight. So many people say they’re not looking for a get-rich-quick-scheme, but when they’re not making $10,000 a month in their 2nd month in the business, they throw their hands up and say this industry doesn’t work. It does work, as long as you understand that you’re building a business and it will take some time.

One of the people who’s had a tremendous impact on me is the great Art Williams…

Art used to always say that building the foundation of a strong business that will take care of you and your family takes about 3-5 years. In addition, statistics show that if you diligently build your business and stick with one company for at least 10 years, chances are you will be one of the highest paid leaders in your company.

Now, I know you’re probably thinking, “3 years? 5 years? 10 years? That just takes too long.” I didn’t say that you had to starve for 3 years or 5 years? You’ll be making money along the way. But, what I am telling you is, if your goal is to have total financial freedom, to change your family’s financial life for generations to come and to never, to never have to worry about money or paying bills ever again, who cares if you have to work for 3-5 years? Chances are you’ll be working for the next 3-5 years anyway… It might as well be at something that AT LEAST has the potential of making you wealthy.

Keep this in mind…

As you build your business and you hit road bumps along the way, and yes, you will hit road bumps, that’s life. Just because you’re a network marketer now doesn’t mean that life still won’t happen because it will. Just make a decision that you’ll commit to building your business and you’re here for the long haul.
